Abstract

With the accelerated pace of economic globalization, international exchanges have become more frequent, and cross-cultural communication has become more and more important. Today’s society puts forward higher requirements for talents’ cross-cultural communication ability. In this case, English teaching undoubtedly undertakes the important task of the era of cultivating intercultural communicative competence. It is very important to improve students' cross-cultural communicative competence in English teaching. Teachers should guide students to watch American dramas so as to improve their cross-cultural communicative competence.
