网红也被称之为网络红人，解释来说就是基于现实生活或者网络生活中环境下，通过一些事件、行为受到欢迎的人，他们的欢迎程度会根据自身的特点而被网络无限的放大，与网民的审美审丑、娱乐和观看的心理一致，和现实生活中的明星、名人相比，网红的时代性、原创性等特征很强，与社会大众距离更进，而网红文化就是网红这一群人形成的特有的一种文化，具体表现有线上互动、文化产品等模式，具有穿透力强、影响力大的特点，当代大学生是接触网红文化比较频繁的一个群体，也因此也极其容易被网红文化影响，学校作为传播知识、思想的重要场所应做好自己的本职义务，通过深化思政教育来提高学生对网红文化的认知，促使其形成正确的价值取向和行为标准。
