Theoretical framework and practical path of ai-empowered college English teaching: Constructing an “AI Dual-Core Driven” smart teaching model
人工智能赋能大学英语课堂教学的理论框架与实践路径研究——基于“AI双核驱动”智慧教学模式的构建与探索

摘要
人工智能(AI)技术的快速发展正深刻变革着高等教育的教学范式。大学英语教学长期面临大班授课个性化不足、师生互动受限、评价反馈滞后等结构性困境,AI技术为破解上述难题提供了新的可能。本文在系统梳理国内外相关理论与实践研究的基础上,以建构主义学习理论、联通主义学习理论和精准教育理念为理论支撑,提出并构建了“AI双核驱动”大学英语智慧教学模式。该模式以“数据智能驱动精准教学决策”与“智能技术驱动互动与评价革新”为双核引擎,系统重构课前、课中、课后三段式教学流程,实现教学的精准化、互动化与智能化闭环。本文进一步从需求调研、平台建设、教师角色转型及效果评估四个维度论述了该模式的实践路径,并就技术伦理、数据隐私、教师能力发展等关键挑战提出了应对建议。研究结论表明,AI赋能大学英语教学改革须坚持“以人为本、技术辅助”的核心立场,强调“教师-AI-学生”三元协同生态的构建,方能真正促进学生语言综合应用能力和自主学习能力的系统性提升。

Abstract
The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is profoundly transforming the pedagogical paradigm of higher education. College English teaching has long faced structural challenges including insufficient personalization in large-class instruction, limited teacher-student interaction, and delayed evaluation feedback. AI technology offers new possibilities for addressing these issues. Based on a systematic review of relevant theories and practices both domestically and internationally, this study proposes and constructs an “AI Dual-Core Driven” smart teaching model for college English, supported by constructivist learning theory, connectivism, and precision education philosophy. The model features two synergistic intelligent engines: “data intelligence driving precision teaching decisions” and “intelligent technology driving interaction and evaluation innovation” systematically reconstructing the three-stage teaching process of pre-class, in-class, and post-class activities. This paper further elaborates on the practical implementation pathways from four dimensions: needs assessment, platform construction, teacher role transformation, and effectiveness evaluation, while proposing recommendations for addressing key challenges such as technological ethics, data privacy, and teacher professional development. The findings indicate that AI-empowered reform of college English teaching must adhere to the core principle of “human-centered, technology-assisted” education, emphasizing the construction of a teacher-AI-student triadic collaborative ecosystem to truly promote students' comprehensive language competence and self-directed learning abilities.
