Curriculum-integrated moral education reform in translation programs under the teaching innovation competition framework: a case study of Integrated English IV

摘要
本文借鉴全国教学创新大赛评价标准和OBE理念,对翻译专业《综合英语IV》课程思政教学改革进行探索。课程聚焦“讲好中国故事”战略需求,针对翻译专业课程思政教学中存在的“内容宏大、方式生硬、实践脱节、评价单一”四大痛点,创新构建了“1234”数智化课程思政框架。该框架以培养“具有家国情怀、国际视野的‘创译型’翻译人才”为根本目标,秉持“学生中心、产出导向、数智赋能”理念,围绕“翻译专业知识、国际传播能力和译者情感价值”三个焦点,通过重构教学内容,创建资源模式,拓展实践路径,创新评价机制四条路径改善思政教学。实践表明,该模式实现了知识传授、思政融入、成果转化与评价机制的系统优化,显著提升了课程育人成效。

Abstract
Drawing on the evaluation standards of the National Teaching Innovation Competition and the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), this study explores value-oriented education reform in the course Integrated English IV for translation majors. Centered on the strategic demand of “telling China’s stories well,” the reform addresses four major challenges in ideological and political education within translation programs: abstract teaching content, rigid teaching approaches, outdated practice models, and single-dimensional assessment. To tackle the issues, the study innovatively constructs a “1234” digitally empowered framework for value-oriented education reform. This framework aims to cultivate “innovative translation professionals” with strong patriotic commitment and global vision as its fundamental objective. Guided by the principles of student-centered learning, outcome orientation, and digital empowerment, it focuses on three core dimensions: translation knowledge, international communication competence, and translators’ emotional and value development. Through four pathways—restructuring teaching content, developing resources and models, expanding practice channels, and innovating assessment mechanisms—the reform enhances the effectiveness of ideological and political integration. Practice demonstrates that this model achieves systematic optimization in knowledge transmission, value integration, outcome transformation, and evaluation mechanisms, significantly improving the course’s educational effectiveness.
