输入假说理论指导下增强英语晨读的实效性研究——以西安翻译学院文传院高职为例

摘要

西安翻译学院多年来坚持组织“万人晨读”,希望以此为契机,提升学生的英语交流技能,敦促他们珍惜光阴。本文以输入假说理论为指导,探讨提升晨读实效性的策略。输入假说理论认为,语言输入总体难度不超过学习者的学习能力,但又包含了略高于学习者现有能力的、足量的语言材料。同时,材料应具备实用性、趣味性、文化性。据此,本文提出的策略有:1.编撰适合学生目前英语水平的晨读资料,并辅以音标学习网站作为自学资源;2. 优化晨读辅导模式,由教师统一管理变为小组长负责制。学生分组要遵循“同组异质、异组同质”的原则。教师要给予及时反馈,例如纠正和鼓励;3.提升学生英语学习动机,用生动的课堂吸引学生、创设情景启发学生听说英语、注意评价用词,多鼓励,少批评。4. 加强思想教育,教导学生深刻反省自己的价值追求。

Abstract

Xi 'an Fanyi University has been organizing "Ten thousand People's Morning Reading" for many years, hoping to take this opportunity to improve students' English communication skills and urge them to cherish the time. Guided by Input Hypothesis, this paper explores strategies to improve the effectiveness of morning reading. Input Hypothesis Theory holds that the overall difficulty of language input does not exceed learners' learning ability, but it contains sufficient language materials slightly higher than learners' current ability. At the same time, the material should be practical, interesting and cultural. Based on this, the strategies proposed in this paper are as follows: 1. Compile morning reading materials suitable for students' current English level, supplemented by phonetic learning websites as self-learning resources; 2. Optimize the morning reading guidance modefrom unified management by teachers to group leader responsibility system.The division of students should follow the principle of "different capacity in one group and the same capacity of different groups ". Teachers should provide timely feedback, such as correction and encouragement; 3. Strengthen ideological education and improve students' motivation to learn English. 4. Strengthen ideological education and teach students to deeply reflect on their own value pursuits.
