On the Reflection and Significance of Aesthetic Education in English Translation Teaching
试谈审美教育在英语翻译教学中的体现及意义

摘要

审美教育是培养学生认识美、追求美和创造美的能力的教育。如今高校开设的众多专业中，各个学科的各个专业都可以找到审美教育的影子。我们知道，英语作为一门公共必修课程贯穿于大学本科课程学习的始终。那么本科所有教授英语的教师，特别是教授翻译相关专业的教师，除了要教会学生这门语言通过等级考试之外，还应让学生认识到语言本身的美；如了解在语音语调方面英语汉语各自独特的韵律和节奏等。那么，如何通过翻译实践和语言知识的积累打磨出“美”的句子，如何给予英语翻译专业相关课程中“审美教育”的重视等问题是值得考究的。本文在分析英汉语言美的基础上，分析翻译本科课程中实施审美教育的体现，总结本科阶段的翻译专业审美教育的重要性及意义。

Abstract

Aesthetic education is an education that cultivates students' ability to recognize beauty, pursue beauty and create beauty. Among the many majors offered by colleges and universities today, every major of every discipline can find the shadow of aesthetic education. We know that English, as a public compulsory course, runs through the study of undergraduate courses. Then all undergraduate teachers who teach English, especially those who teach translation-related majors, should not only teach students to pass the graded test in this language, but also make students aware of the beauty of the language itself; Unique rhythm and rhythm etc. Then, how to polish the "beautiful" sentences through translation practice and the accumulation of language knowledge, and how to attach importance to "aesthetic education" in the relevant courses of English translation majors are worth studying. Based on the analysis of English and Chinese language beauty, this paper analyzes the embodiment of aesthetic education in translation undergraduate courses, and summarizes the importance and significance of aesthetic education for translation majors at the undergraduate level.
